Language and culture are like two sides of a non-refundable currency. Language is used as a means of expressing culture. The most solid language of reflection and identity of culture. Language becomes a very powerful binding tool to maintain the existence of the community which is inherited from its ancestors. A conversation will be successful, discussed, and upheld by the wearer if the public understands the language of instruction. This is translated as an important role and must be developed and developed by the language being removed will help eliminate the culture provided in society. In fact, at this time the culture that became the ancestral heritage and one of the regional wealth began to erode due to differences in time. This phenomenon occurs in the Sasak people. In the Sasak tribe, the existence of Sorong Serah Aji Krama (SSAK) culture is known. SSAK is one of the rituals carried out in the marriage process of the Sasak people. As a result of observations and explanations from several traditional figures, the SSAK ritual has successfully changed both in terms of implementation, function, and meaning. Therefore, important assistance is needed to save language and culture from extinction. One effort that can be done is to develop subject matter in schools related to local culture and language. In this case, the list of lexicons/terms used in SSAK rituals can be used in school subject matter in Local Content subjects. This is very important to do with the aim of language and culture that has begun to shift with time.
