The research on Starfish Identification in the coastal area of Awang, Central Lombok Regency aims to find out the number of species and the distribution of starfish species in Awang Beach, Central Lombok Regency. Starfish play an important role in the life of living things as bio-indicators of water pollution. However, the existence of Starfish in each region is increasingly damaged due to pollution and human activities. The type of research used is exploratory descriptive research. Data collection techniques in the form of direct observation and documentation. Sampling was carried out at three station points namely station I, station II and station III, using the quadrant transect method.
